Open threadiness! Whooo hoooooo!
I will start off by celebrating the new Goody ribbon wrap headband (that link shows a black headband… the ones I bought are a lovely brown to match my brunette hair.. apparently they are making these for red, blonde and black hair) that I found at Target! It’s so rare for me to find a headband that doesn’t make my hair all weird. Apparently zig zag headbands work really well for me, so this morning I went back and bought two more. 😀 Yay for hair accessories that make me feel pretty!

After five months of searching and lots of drama and tension between me and my dad, I finally have a job interview! It’s just a seasonal position, but if I get it (or another job), I won’t have to move back home to NJ (which is what my dad really wants) and I’ll be able to go back to seminary in January. 🙂
I’ve got my fingers crossed for you! Let us know how it goes.
My husband goes to the doctor today in about an hour and a half. He has something in his mouth on both sides. It doesn’t look good. What we’ve seen online tells us it could be treatable but not curable. I’m just a little worried about him.

Thanks for the well wishes! The interview went realy well, now I just have to wait and see if they’ll hire me.
And yes, Jennyrose, I’m preparing to be a minister. Specifically, I want to be a music pastor, but I’m totally open to serving in any aspect of pastoral ministry.
That’s wonderful CHar. I had a friend who became a minister. She hated it because she didn’t like people. How could not have known that 1) people are part of the job and 2) she didn’t like them.

Looks like stoned teenagers tried to create a video that “proves” that fat is unhealthy. I agree that it def would be harder trying to carry liquid through a course for that one girl… but it also looks to me like that girl was purposefully moving more awkwardly…
It’s so badly done that I’m not even annoyed at the fat myths they are trying to perpetuate. It’s so badly done that I get the sense that it’s more of an FA score. Hah.
