I will celebrate today because I’m so glad you were born!
I was just reflecting on how being born, even though life can contain a great amount of pain, is a really great gift.
May you have a year of gorgeous growth and exploration.
May your “old architecture” (as PhDCoachy calls it) rust and decay and rot, and may glorious new monuments to your wonderfulness be erected.
I’m sending you (via my mind) burgundy and yellow roses from my garden, purple irises, sweet william, purple pansies, towering pink and orange hollyhocks and vibrant gladiolas. Sunflowers of every size and type (save the seeds to feed to the birds).

My first present today was a 3 hour nap in the late morning. It was just lovely. I just made myself a really nice lunch, so I’m not sure if I’m actually going to want to go to dinner tonight like I had semi-planned (I hate planning… heh). Richard had a good idea of getting another xbox 360, so we can play against eachother in some of our fav games… so maybe we’ll do that tonight. 😉
