As we are new to the whole blogging dealy, rules will evolve as needed.
For now, content yourself with the following:
Be respectful. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. No, not even if you want to be cruel to someone “for their own good”.
Among other things, this is a fat acceptance blog. Therefore, your dieting tips (even if you call them “lifestyle changes”) will not be posted. Neither will your reasons that this one particular diet is sure to work if we just had “willpower”.
Fat is not a moral issue on this site and we will not be approving comments that make it one.
In case the above doesn’t make this obvious – trolls will be ignored. Comments that were obviously written to push the buttons of the bloggers or commentors will be ignored. Comments that straight-up annoy me will be ignored. This is our blog and we have no obligation to post any comment we don’t wanna. Nya nya. 😉
That said – overall, allowing others to express themselves is important to us! Even when we disagree or when one of my buttons is pushed by a comment, if the comment is respectful and all that, it will be approved and addressed. Respectful disagreement that stays on topic is ENCOURAGED – it is vauable! We want to learn from you, so challenge us and hopefully we can also challenge you.
Once a conversation becomes argumentative, personally insulting or is just going round in circles – we will no longer engage in the conversation and perhaps close it all together. Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree, ya know… and sometimes going in circles just becomes beating a dead horse and we are not going to drain ourselves like that.
